The Pateo Square is in the very center of the clay village, this is where all the celebrations of the Lacerta take place. In the center there is a large sculpture of a clay Komodo dragon with a snake around it's neck. The sculpture is so large it is possible to see the individual scales of both the snake and the dragon.

The Pateo Library is small compared to the others. With a single story and only enough room one aisle of bookshelves and a wall bookshelf, it still manages to hold a good amount of books. The bookshelves are lined floor to ceiling with books and parchment and are built out of wood. Torches are lit to keep the place well lighted and there is a chimney to let the smoke out.

It was no secret that Vherik was a creature of vanity and grandeur, living in excess and determined to be admired by all who lay eyes upon him -- so naturally where he lived had to be extravagant. Among the rural prairie huts is a single alabaster structure that leaves the viewers in awe. Two stone dragons guard its entrance, the eyes made of emeralds, claws made of obsidian and teeth of shaped diamonds. It's columns have engravings of serpents coiling around them and the interior as spacious as it is luxurious. It is a beautiful example of the Lacerta's craftsmanship.
