His mother was a great grandmother's daughter, and so it was only natural for him to be one of royal blood. His line was the first child of Kydai and so would rule the Felis Tribe. For his entire life Tyran was groomed to rule. So he became much of an entitled brat, who thought he owned the world. At the age of his first shift, thirteen, he has been in the hunter occupation. Working on being a good leader, and by being a hunter he became aware of his people and knowing what they needed. He stayed as a hunter until he was thirty, by then his mother had decided he was ready to take the rule of the Tribe as his own. Since he was born he was betrothed to a young female leopard Felis. She ended up being Tyran's best friend as they grew up, her name was Chante. Tyran slowly fell in love Chante as they grew, but she never loved him. He was oblivious though and she never corrected him. So as he fell deeper and deeper into the abyss of unrequited love, she fell for someone else and began to secretly see him though it was against the bretrothal. This shape shifter's name was Mythros, and his intentions with Chante were soon found out by Tyran. He found out on his twenty-eighth birthday, finding the two in a compromising position after his birthday celebration was over with. The young and innocent leader-to-be's world crashed down around him. Rage filled him and in a moment of anger he killed Mythros. Chante was filled with fear and in the woman Tyran once loved he only saw a disgusting cat in heat. So he banished her from the Kingdom of Kydai. Leaving her in the wilderness to hold her own with nothing but her teeth and claws, and the on her back. Since then Tyran has seen the world in a twisted and skewed way. A paranoia has taken over his mind and he is constantly thinking that people are betraying him when they have a distant relationship. He doesn't trust the thought of love, and tries to keep people at a distance, though some shifters have managed to wiggle their way in passed his defenses. The few friends he has do have his undying loyalty.
